Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough ( Homemade or store bought)
  • Pizza/ Marinara sauce ( Homemade or store bought)
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Shredded parmesan cheese ( garnish)
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 2 Garlic cloves (minced)
  • Cornmeal (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit.
  • Prep your baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat.
  • Take you pizza dough and cut or tear it into six small pieces and roll them into 2 inch balls.
  • Press out the 2 inch balls into round circle/disks shapes with your thumbs.
  • Next add a little cornmeal onto your work surface and place the pressed out dough into it.
  • Add a small dollop about a 1tsp of pizza/marinara sauce, followed by 1 pepperoni and some shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Pull the edges and corners of the pizza dough up and over, almost like wrapping a burrito. Tuck them under being sure to leave no gaps. Don’t want that yummy filling falling out.
  • Melt 3 tbsp of butter in a microwave safe dish then add the italian seasoning and garlic and give it a good stir.
  • Brush the butter mixture onto each pizza bomb and lay it on thick honey, because butter makes everything better!
  • Place the baking sheet into the oven for 15-20 minutes or until you see the delicious golden brown color.
  • Let the bombs cool for about 2-3 minutes then add a little shredded parmesan on top.
  • Serve with a side of marinara sauce and enjoy!

Notes

  • This recipe makes 6 pizza bombs but it can be easily doubled or tripled for a crowd.

  • You can substitute pizza dough for store bought biscuit dough. Just cut each piece of biscuit dough in half and follow the same steps above.
